In today’s meditation, we are reminded by Wovoka, a Paiute elder, that the path to satisfaction in life involves not causing harm to others, always doing what is right, and letting go of the need to be right in order to find happiness. This wisdom teaches us the importance of forgiveness and living in harmony with ourselves and others.

In the Just for Today reading, we reflect on the struggles of low self-esteem and the journey towards self-acceptance and self-worth in recovery. By embracing service, seeking support, and working the Twelve Steps, we learn to see ourselves as deserving of love and respect from ourselves and our Higher Power.

In the Spiritual Principle reading, we are encouraged to listen for common ground in our interactions with others, especially in N.A. service. By focusing on understanding, interpreting, and clarifying what others say, we can improve our communication and connection with those around us. This practice of active listening and seeking common ground helps us to build stronger relationships and find unity with others.

Together, these teachings emphasize the importance of doing what is right, overcoming feelings of inadequacy, and practicing empathy and understanding in our interactions. By embracing these principles, we can cultivate inner peace, self-acceptance, and positive connections with those around us, transcending cultural boundaries and facilitating spiritual growth and well-being.
