“When you begin a great work you can’t expect to finish it all at once; therefore, you and your brothers press on and let nothing discourage you until you have entirely finished what you have begun.” -Teedyuschung, DELAWARE

All things have their seasons. All thoughts are real. We must think to cause action and each action creates results. Big visions require many thoughts. It takes a series of thoughts to create a series of actions, and a series of actions creates a series of results. These results are what make visions become real. If we are here to serve the Creator, then we can expect to be accomplishing big visions. How do we do this? One step at a time.

Step One:

“We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives had become unmanageable.”

Step One begins with “we,” signaling the strength in making a verbal admission of our powerlessness. In fellowship, this collective “we” allows us to recover together. By admitting our powerlessness, we gain the experience and support of others who have walked the same path. No longer alone, we can search for a better way to live.

Forgiveness Sets Us Free:

“Forgiving is its own reward. We start to find peace within ourselves. When we are free of guilt, shame, and resentment, our minds can be still.”

Self-righteous indignation was once addictive, offering a temporary high that distracts from the real problem. Forgiveness sets us free from anger, shame, and resentment, allowing us to focus on self-improvement. Through forgiveness, we find contentment in minding our own business and actively loving and understanding others. Letting go of resentments leads to freedom and lightness in life.

In fellowship, by admitting powerlessness, seeking forgiveness, and letting go of resentments, we walk a path of spiritual growth and well-being. Together, we support each other on this journey towards peace and serenity.
