Today, I will remember that the Great Spirit is ever-present, listening with love and care. As I say my prayers, I will release them, knowing they are heard and will not fade away with worry. In this connection, I find it easier to feel the guidance of a Higher Power.
I am becoming a new person, moving away from a past without direction to a life filled with purpose and power greater than myself. Through daily practice and the wisdom of the Elders, I understand how my past warped my feelings and motivations. Now, the destructive forces within me are being replaced by life-giving energy.
The guidance I need is always at hand. Just for today, I will draw closer to my Higher Power, embracing the sense of direction and purpose that leads me to a new life.
