Meditation of the Day:

“Our Creator makes available to us all that we need. It is an honor to go out and gather it. We must remember to say ‘Thank You.’ It is honorable to give away, to show our gratitude… and to let the children see this.”

In the abundant world created for us, there lies a profound truth: we must never forget to say “Thank You” to the Creator. The universe is filled with gifts, and Mother Earth reproduces plenty of everything. Our very existence is a testament to the generosity of our surroundings.

As we embrace our journey in Fellowship, we are reminded that the foundation of recovery lies in the freedom from the compulsion to use. This freedom enables us to transition from a life of despair into one filled with joy and possibility. No longer must we expend our energy on feeding our addictions; instead, we channel that energy into building a meaningful life.

Through our shared experiences in the Fellowship, we have not only achieved abstinence but have also been given the tools to examine and grow from our pasts. We identify those character defects that once bound us, relinquishing them in pursuit of a more fulfilled existence. The warmth and support of our Fellowship provides us with the encouragement we need to carry on, and above all, we find solace in the guidance we receive along this journey.

As we navigate our daily lives, let us remain mindful of the transformation we have undergone. The more we recognize our blessings, the more we feel inspired to give back. When we share our abundance, we cultivate a spirit of gratitude and connection, lighting the path for others to follow, especially our children.

Just for Today: Let us greet the day with hope and gratitude for the freedom we have been given. We will honor the gifts bestowed upon us by sharing generously, for in giving, we truly thrive.
