“Those who live for one another learn that love is the bond of perfect unity.”

-Fools Crow, Native

In our Fellowship, we embrace the guiding principle of serving one another with respect, trust, and honor. Love manifests itself in countless acts: caring, forgiving, focusing on the good, laughing together, learning from one another, and praying for each other. These actions weave a tapestry of connection that ties us to one another and to the Unseen World. Nature stands as our teacher, exemplifying the way all beings coexist—each contributing to the greater whole. The birds give to the insects, who give to the four-legged, who in turn give to the two-legged. All things are made harmonious.

As we engage in our personal inventory, let us keep in mind the importance of self-awareness and honesty in our actions and motives. “Am I honestly in touch with myself? Have I sought guidance and the strength to fulfill my purpose?” These reflections pave the way for a deeper understanding of our daily experiences.

We can also consider our relationships: “Have I harmed anyone today, either directly or indirectly? Do I need to make amends as a result of my actions?” Simplicity in our inquiries helps us grow. We ask ourselves: “Where was I wrong? How can I do better next time?”

As we review our day, let us also affirm our worthiness and the love we extend to others. Have I done something for someone without expecting anything in return? Have I recognized the presence of a loving force in my life? This ongoing practice keeps us grounded in our recovery and in communion with the spirit of unity that binds us all.

Just for today: I will reflect on my actions. If I have caused harm, I will seek to make amends. I will strive to act with intention, embracing love as my guide.
